Toloache (Datura inoxia)

Toloache (Datura inoxia): directly from Castaneda's book  Mexico's Datura, the datura of shamans. The plant is perennial if it does not encounter frost. It reaches more than a meter in height and produces beautiful white flowers, with hooked petals, which last only a few hours. They will be followed by fruits, the size of a golf ball, with thorns, soft ones. They dry on the plant acquiring a light brown color, they also contain many seeds. The whole plant is rich in alkaloids and very toxic.
