Acceptance of the conditions of sale

Simultaneously with the sending of the order, the terms and conditions of sale are fully accepted by the customer.

 

 

Orders

Purchase order is considered closed upon confirmation. It is possible to change or cancel an order only before the shipment by sending an email to info@seedshunters.com or calling +44 20 3290 3923 or Skype: SeedsHunters

Shipping risks 

The cultural association Cercatori di Semi is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by insufficient/ incorrect information about the consignee data, however after 10 days from the order, if you haven’t received anything, please contact us, we will manage the eventual exceptions.

 In order to avoid any problem between both parties, please at the courier's arrival, as  the seeds travel well packaged and protected, if you notice holes o something broken on the packaging, notify it  immediately the courier.

Seed warranties 

The cultural association Cercatori di Semi is a non-profit organization. The sale of seeds is a way of self-financing to carry out our projects for the defense of biodiversity and a more conscious and sustainable agriculture. All our seeds are non-GM and non-hybrid F1. The seeds of some varieties are of foreign origin, often from suppliers (as indicated) who cultivate under organic farming. Other seeds are of ancient local varieties whose traces have sometimes been lost, ergo can be named with names given by the producers as without a known and correct scientific name. The packaging operation is controlled through several steps, human error is still lurking. It is therefore possible that sometimes some seeds are delivered in place of others. In this case we will try to replace the product with the correct one. The purity of the seeds especially for the oldest species, is subject to multiple factors

, we cannot answer of any hybridizations. In addition to choosing meticulous suppliers and producers (very serious associations from all over the world), we produce seeds in our Estate, where by visiting us you will see the techniques of isolation and the treatment of seeds. Trough projects of collaborations with those who want to produce seeds (exclusively for those who cultivate sustainably) we follow the production of the seeds to be distributed step by step.

In conclusion, we cannot provide a guarantee on the seeds placed on the market, but we will be happy to listen to you and find a solution to the problem as far as possible.

 

Germination

Seed germination depends on several factors, such as humidity temperature, substrate.

We do not assume responsibility for non-germinated seeds, since it is impossible to control the environmental conditions to which the seed has been subjected by the buyer. It should be remembered, however, that our aim is to safeguard the varieties, it will therefore be our care to listen to you and find a solution together.

 

Out of stock products

In case of non disposable of one or more varieties, we reserve the right to not ship the order. 

When possible , according with the necessities of the customer,  we will  replace the order with similar specs.

 

Right of withdrawal

The rights of the Customer are protected by Legislative Decree 206/2005 as amended The Customer has, therefore, the right to withdraw from the contract, even partially, without explanation and without additional costs, provided that the withdrawal is communicated by registered A / R to 

CERCATORI DI SEMI Via Casali di S. Procula nr.02 - 00040 Ardea (Rm) within 14 working days from the day of receipt of the products.

The communication can be anticipated, within the same term, by e-mail (to the address info@cercatoridisemi.com), on condition that it is confirmed by registered letter with return receipt within the following 48 hours. This communication must specify at will to withdraw from the purchase and the product or products for which it intends to exercise the right of withdrawal, attaching a copy of the transport document. The Customer must then return the product to Cercatori di Semi , Via Casali di S. Procula Nr. 2 – 00040 ITALY Ardea (Rm) at his own expense.

If the withdrawal has been exercised in accordance with the methods described, the cultural association Cercatori di Semi will reimburse the sum paid for the purchase of the product within 14 days from the date on which the cultural association Cercatori di Semi became aware of the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Customer. The amount repaid will not customs/shipping costs.

For purchases made by bank transfer the cultural association Cercatori di Semi will be refund by bank transfer.

For purchases made with PayPal the refund will be made on the customer's PayPal account.

In the event that the withdrawal is partial, the delivery costs will be refund to the customer in proportion to the value of the

returned goods.

 

The Customer will be responsible for the decrease in value of the returned good resulting from a handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the asset. Without prejudice to the above, the right of withdrawal is not permitted in the case of:

- purchase of sealed packaged products opened by the Customer;

- of goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (plants or bulbs).

Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003

The cultural association of seed seekers pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 ("Code regarding the protection of personal data"), proceeds to the processing of data supplied by you in compliance with the regulations in force and according to

the following is reported.

 

The personal information you provide is collected in compliance with the obligations and guarantees of the laws, contracts and regulations. The data is processed on paper and / or electronically, also with the aid of electronic means, directly and / or through delegated third parties (the mailing and for the purposes connected to the execution of the service and to the management of the order) of purchasing products online), according to logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes and, in any case, in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.

In any case, your personal data will not be sold and / or communicated, except to delegated third parties (mailing companies)

As interested, pursuant to art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, you have the right at any time to obtain from the Data Processor: confirmation of the existence of the data and communication of the same; updating, rectification, integration, cancellation, transformation; blocking of data processed in violation of the law. You may also object to the processing of the same.
